The Beautiful of Rainbow Park

Rainbow Park or Taman Pelangi is one of the green open space (Ruang Terbuka Hijau) in the Southern region of Surabaya. It’s located on Ahmad Yani Street. The architecture of this park is unique, like a fan-shaped over the pool water. This park was built on the cooperation of Surabaya Government with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program. Rainbow Park was known by Surabaya citizen in the first of year-2009.
The beautiful arrangement of the plants in Rainbow park make that park looks so nice. On the north side of the park there is a small space which is functioned as a praying place (Musholla) and next to it, there is a clean toilet. When the night falls, Rainbow Park looks so beautiful with the color-full light which cover the fan-shaped ornament. Many people, teenagers, adult and even children often visit it everyday, especially on Saturday night and Sunday morning. All of them usually take some pictures in Rainbow Park. Beside that, it’s often used as the place for pre-wedding.
It is a great place to spend the spare time while enjoying the city view of Surabaya and also it is a good place for having time with family and friends. It is not only suitable for family relaxation arena, for those who want therapy reflections by walking on small rocks are also available. Besides the cool eye throws view, the body and mind can also be fresh.
It is quite interesting, if you want to try to come on the afternoon. When the sky before dark, and park lights begin to flicker. You will get a comfortable feeling and also can make your mind be fresh. "We tried to make the people who come here feel comfortable and safe," said Purnomo. The colorful, cool and beautiful of Surabaya, starting with a welcome greeting Rainbow Park.
